5 tips for training in the heat - DON'T? 😂😂

Get out of the heat and into our nice cool air-conditioned gym. 😉

Just kidding! If you decide to workout in the sun this summer...

Remember to -

1. Stay hydrated

Water is key, but other drinks with potassium, sodium and electrolytes can help you rehydrate and replenish your body!

2. Wear light/bright clothing

Wearing quick drying and light clothes can help keep you cool, and if you're in the sun brighter colours can help reflect the heat.

3. Wear sunscreen

Grab some waterproof sunscreen so it doesn't come off when you're sweating. Sunburns make working out harder. So prevent the burn!

4. Time your workout

Stay out of peak heat, and aim to train in the early mornings or evenings.

5. Know your limits

If you're feeling dizzy or nauseous, take a break and rest. Burning yourself out can be detrimental to your goals.

Stay consistent, stay safe and stay cool.
